<MANDATORY BIKE/SAFETY GEAR INSPECTION>
Location: Start venue
You must bring your bike and the following gear to the meeting room for inspection. Your brevet card will NOT be stamped (and will therefore not be valid) without all of the following criteria being met.
1. You must have two headlights (capable of being used for full-darkness navigation) fixed to your bicycle at all times. This MUST remain permanently fixed to your bicycle for the duration of the event. Even if you *think* you will not be riding in darkness, this light must remain fixed to your bike. As the saying goes, “shit happens” and we expect all riders to equip the headlights for night or low light riding regardless of their expected speed or hours of light vs dark riding. Failure to use the required lighting during the ride will result in disqualification.
2. You must have a taillight (to be run on constant, not flashing) fixed to your bicycle. This MUST remain permanently fixed to your bicycle for the duration of the event. Even if you *think* you will not be riding in darkness, this light must remain fixed to your bike. As the saying goes, “shit happens” and we expect all riders to be equipped for night or low light riding regardless of their expected speed or hours of light vs dark riding. Failure to use the required lighting during the ride will result in disqualification.
3. You must have a small light fixed to the back of your helmet.
4. You must present your reflective vest for inspection. ALL riders MUST wear their vests at all times during the ride, day and night. Riders will not be permitted to start without the required vest. Failure to present us the required
reflective vest will result in disqualification.
5. It is strongly recommended that riders wear ankle bands at all times, no matters day and night.
6. Your helmet. Helmet is required to be worn while riding. Failure to wear a helmet will result in disqualification.
7. You MUST have a bell fixed to your bike because it is required by the traffic law of Japan.
8. Your bike will undergo a general safety check, including the condition of tires, brakes, headset, bar end plugs, etc. Riders will not be allowed to start if your bike is judged to be unsafe or in disrepair.
*ALL RIDERS must register between 3pm and 5pm, and attend the pre-ride meeting at 5pm immediately after the registration period.

■Regarding the detour setting
Currently the road is not closed yet, but the Route 336 (Golden Road) as written in Cue Sheet No.13, is a route that will close easily due to weather changes. As an alternative, we set a replacement route.
After PC 1, turns back and enter Route 236 (Tenma Kaido) to Seico Mart Samani shop and return back to the original route. Please follow the instruction by the staff during the rider's meeting. Hereby we uploaded the alternative route cue sheet, RouteLab and RWG.
