8th January, 2026: Devotional Song Competition

The devotional song competition which is organised annually was held with great enthusiasm at the Shri Dev Adinath Temple. Eleven children aged 11-17 years participated. The competition was organized along with the Parule Yuva Kala Krida Mandal. RRF's committee members, Mrs. Aruna Samant, Mrs. Purva Naik, Ajit Parulekar, Sachin Samant, Amey Desai, and Dr. Prashant Samant were present on the occasion.

The results of the competition are as follows:

First Prize: Bhavik Mestry

Second Prize: Vinayak Gavkar

Third Prize: Sukhi Samant

Consolation Prize: Gauri Vast

The winners were honored with mementos and cash prizes by the dignitaries and judges present.

All the participating children presented beautiful songs and won the hearts of the audience. The competition was inaugurated by the judges, Mr. Atmaram (Daji) Gosavi and Mrs. Tejaswini Desai. Mr. Acharekar, Umalkar, Aba Mestry, Yogesh Prabhu, and Vinayak Joshi provided musical accompaniment for the competition.

14th February, 2026: Maths Science Scholarship Exam 2025-2026

This exam is organised annually at 12 participating high schools. Shri Devi Sateri High School, Vetore, Chamankar High School, Adeli, Nutan Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Insuli. S. Ka. Patil Vidyamandir, Kelus, New. English School, Madura, Madyachiwadi High School, Malgaon English School, Malgaon, Parule High School, Paat High School, Kalsulkar High School, Sawantwadi, Tendoli High School and Banda High School. 58 students participated in the examination which has come to be a highly anticipated event in Sindhudurg.

5th March, 2026: Chicken rearing program for school students

Radharang Foundation implements various social welfare programs throughout the year. Among them, the chicken rearing program for school students has been especially successful. Five chicken chicks were given to each student from schools in Parule and Madyachiwadi. This program will provide students with nutritious food as well as hands-on experience in chicken rearing and will also create a sense of self-reliance. This program was successfully implemented under the leadership of Deepak Samant of Radharang Foundation.

1st February, 2026: RRF Sea Breeze Run Marathon

RRF's SEA BREEZE RUN marathon, organized by Parule Youth Arts and Sports Board, has been held for the past 5 years. In this marathon held from Annasaheb Desai Vidyamandir Parule to Deoli Pool, 515 men, women and children from Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Goa participated in this marathon, 346 for 5 km, 112 for 10 km and 47 for 21 km. Dr. G T Rane, Dr. Jaisingh Raorane, Sarpanch Shri. Nilesh Samant, Pradeep Prabhu Omkar Desai and other dignitaries were present to flag off the marathon. The marathon was supported by Venkatesh Enterprises who provided water bottles, Yasharth Wellness Solutions who sponsored snacks and body wash packs for all the participants. The ORS required for this marathon was provided by Dr. G. T. Rane, a renowned doctor from Kudal. Physiotherapy services were provided by B. Nath Pai College of Physiotherapy, Kudal for all the runners. Ambulances were provided by District Hospital Sindhudurg and Primary Health Center Parule. Lions Club Sawantwadi and Vetoba Petroleum were the sponsors of this marathon. Dr. Jaisingh Raorane completed this marathon, running in reverse. Pramod Bhogte, Dr. Raorane, Dr. G. T. Rane, Mr. Vivek Samant and Lions Club Sawantwadi were honored on this occasion.

28th March, 2026 Carrom Tournament

A Carrom Tournament was organised specifically for women residing in the rural areas of Sindhudurg district under the "Anil / Anuradha Tirodkar Sadaprem" scheme through a generous donation from Dr. Urmila and Dr. Tanmay Lal, the event is held in loving memory of Urmila's late father, Anil (Hari) Sadashiv Tirodkar at the late Uday Ramakant Khanolkar Reading Hall (*Vachan Mandir*) in Malgaon. The proceedings were anchored by Mrs. Sneha Mahesh Khanolkar, Secretary of the Reading Hall. RRF is grateful to President Mr. Mahesh Khanolkar and Vice-President Mr. Babli Narvekar for supporting the programme. Mrs. Aruna Ramakant Samant spoke about RRF activities. Mr. Hemant Khanolkar, President of RRF, was instrumental in the organization and meticulous planning of the tournament. Mr. Madhukar Loke and Mr. Pranit Goswami served as the judges for this competition. This initiative is being implemented under the guidance of the organization's esteemed head, Mr. Raghunath Pandurang Sarnaik (based in the USA). On behalf of the Radharang Foundation, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success. A total of 16 women participated in the competition. The winner—Ms. Neha Malgaonkar—and the runner-up—Mrs. Pratiksha Gavkar—were felicitated and awarded prizes at the hands of the distinguished guests.
