On the occasion of Shanta Shelke's birth centenary year, a singing competition was organized by Radharang Foundation and Parule Yuvak Kala Krida Mandal. Swarada Panashikar, Vaishnavi Dhuri, Bhavana Parab and Saurabh Vardam were the winners. The first four winners were awarded a cash prize and memento. Judges of the competition, Mr. Srihari Kashikar, Kudal and Mrs. Ishwari Tejam, Sawantwadi inaugurated the competition by lighting lamps. 16 contestants from Sindhudurg participated in this competition. Prizes were presented by the judges and Aruna Samant and Hanumant Teli. The singers were accompanied by Balkrishna Naik on the harmonium and Shubham Sutar on the tabla. Mr. Jaywant Raul of Varathi Mangal office was felicitated on this occasion. The members of both the organizations contributed to the success of the competition.
Examinations were held online at 9 schools in Vengurla (20 participants), Kudal (17 participants) and Malvan (5 participants). All the participants were given certificates. Pari Samant, Annasaheb Desai Vidyamandir, Parule(First), Meghan Naik, Shri Devi Satari High School, Vetore, (Second), Yash Kadam, Topiwala High School, Malwan, (Third), Parth Gosavi, Pat High School, Vengurla, (Third) and Trisha Warang, Annasaheb Desai Vidyamandir, Parule, (Third) were awarded scholarships. The organisation skills of Mrs. Swati Walawalkar must be acknowledged in ensuring a fair and successful outcome.
Prize distribution ceremony of Essay competition in memory of Mai Sushila Gavankar at Topiwala High School, Malvan. The competition was organized by Principal Milind Avasare on behalf of RadhaRang Foundation.
RadhaRang Foundation organized a drawing competition for 3rd and 4th grade students. Sachin Samant, Vilas Sarnaik, Hemant Khanolkar, Swami Sawant and Shripad Desai ably managed this competition. All the 179 budding artists were given a memento in the form of Camlin Art Kit. The prize winners are Dipti Walawalkar, Soham Rewale, Jayshri Kamble (Fourth Standard) and Naveli Salgaonkar, Khushi Kelkar and Astha Ghadi (Third Standard).
Samruddhi Sarnaik, Poorva Gurav, Rudra Jadhav, Nitya Sawant (Fifth Standard) and Aditya Naik, Vikram Mehendele and Vedant Gosawi (Eighth Standard) were given prizes in recognition of their performance in the State Scholarship Examination. Radharang Foundation has been giving prizes every year for those placing in the first three ranks in these examinations. From this year, the prizes are being given in memory of Late Meena Subhash Zarapkar.
A cheque of Rs. 25,000 was received in memory of Late Meena Ambeskar. The amount will be used to undertake renovations at the Primary School, Pinguli. Radharang Foundation's Shri Girish Tirodkar, B. S. Naik and Prathamesh Naik handed over the cheque to authorities at the school.
Radharang Foundation organised an online poem recitation competition. The judge was Priyanka Prabhu Tendolkar who is an MSc but is a also a well known author and poetess. Arpita Samant (Parule High School), Gayatri Naik (Vetore High School), Tanvi Chaukekar (Topiwala High School) and Vijaya Pawaskar (Vetore High School) were awarded prizes.

A carrom competition was organised in Ladies' and Children's categories. The carrom board was donated by Radharang Foundation to Annasaheb Desai Vidya Mandir, Parule on 15th August 2021 and has since seen many tournaments.
The Sharada Trophy and Prabhakar Trophy is awarded every year to students excelling in sports. This year's competition was organised by Guru Narvekar and Hemant Khanolkar at Khemraj Memorial English School, Banda, Sawantwadi for girls and boys aged up to 17 years. Deepak Samant and Anil Samant provided valuable assistance and guidance, which made the competition a huge success. The events were 100m and 400m running, long jump and triple jump, throw ball and discus throw. 54 contestants participated in the competition. The Prabhakar trophy was won by Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya, Vilwade and The Sharda Trophy winning school was New English School, Madura.
Nihar Khanolkar donated chairs for Radharang Foundation's Indoor Sports Room at Parule. The absence of seating was causing inconvenience to contestants and spectators during the numerous competitions and events organised. Many thanks to Nihar!
At the recommendation of RRF Committee member, Vilas Sarnaik, Kishor Ramakant Jadhav and Vaibhav Eknath Surve, from Malgaon (near Malvan), were given a loan of Rs 7,000 each to purchase seeds and fertilizer under RRF ANANT KRUSHI VIKAS YOJANA. Deepak Samant, RRF treasurer, is seen handing over the cheques to the farmers. Some more beneficiaries will be added shortly.
Underprivileged senior citizens were provided essential household and hygiene items under a donation made by Drs. Urmila and Tanmay Lal in memory of Urmila's parents. 26 persons were benefited through this effort. The ceremony was held at Annasaheb Desai Vidyamandir during which people residing in Parule and Walawal were given these items. Dr. Umakant Samant who was recently honoured with the "Dr. Jagdish Samant Outstanding Doctor" award, was felicitated. Radharang Foundation committee members were also present at the event.
RadhaRang Foundation presented a Blood Pressure/ Diabetes Monitoring Unit to Jivhaalaa Sevaashram in memory of Anuradha Anil Tirodkar. Drs. Urmil and Tanmay Lal have donated funds under the "Anil/ Anuradha Tirodkar Sadaprem" Yojana for the continuing efforts.
A drawing competition is held every year for students of Standards 3rd and 4th from Malgaon, Malvan and Bagayat regions of Sindhudurg. This year the competition was organised by Vilas Sarnaik and Keshav Bhogle and was judged by Mr. Lad, a teacher from the region. Similarly, Dipti Prabhu organised a drawing competition for children of middle school at Vetore High School.
Yashasvi Patkar, Durvesh Parab and Chinmai Patkar were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
Two carrom boards were presented in the presence of Dr. Arvind Khanolkar, Hemant Khanolkar, Gurunath Narvekar and Radharang family members, Naresh Khanolkar and Santosh Sarnaik. In spite of a power failure and heavy rains, the special guests reached the library at Malgaon in time for the Inauguration function. The donation was made to observe the birthday of RadhaRang Foundation founder, Raghunath Sarnaik who ran a 5k marathon on his special day proving that age is but a number. His interest in sports and desire to provide appropriate infrastructure for women in the Sindhudurg region caused some debate on what would be most appreciated. The panel agreed that carrom tables with proper lighting to ensure long term maintenance would be best. The results are evident in the enthusiasm shown on day 1.
3rd and 4th standard students at Vetore, Parule, Madyachiwadi, Banda, Malgaon, Walawal and other villages participated in this annual competition. Radharang Foundation organises a Mathematics and Science examination in 12 schools in Sindhudurg. The scholarship has been instituted in the memory of Vasant Sarnaik. The examination was also held at Walawalkar High School in memory of Late Govind and Late Sumati Ambeskar parents of Mrs. Pushpa Chital who has instituted the scholarship.
54 students participated this year. The efforts of Principal Sanjay Parab, Sujata Naik, Tanhaji Chavan, Chaitanya Suki and staff of Shree Devi Sateri High School and Gulabtai Dinanath Naik Junior College, Vetore must be acknowledged in making a huge success of this annual event

Every year Radharang Foundation gives financial assistance to farmers under a scheme suggested by Kishore Sarnaik. The scheme has helped many needy farmers with timely financial help. Many thanks to Anant (Deepak) Samant for nurturing this programme. This year 7 farmers benefited from the programme including Mr. Jayesh Patkar from Pat who kept goats on his farm. Pramod Parulekar is shown on his coconut farm. Kishore Jadhav of Malgaon Gadkarwadi, Malvan cultivated ragi. The family is shown dehusking the grain on a machine made possible through a grant.
Anant Samant also organised a Bee Farming Training Programme at Madyachiwadi School.
