Radharang Foundation's Subodh Sangeet program was held on 1st January to welcome the new year. The program runs on the guidelines suggested by RRF Founder, Raghunath Sarnaik. Both amateur and eminent singers are given the opportunity to showcase their singing talent. In this program which lasted for two hours, 32 participants including singer and kirtankar from Parula Shri. Daji Samant Gosavi, Hanumant Teli, Madhura Khanolkar, Dr. Prashant Samant, Amey Desai, Jyoti Desai, Aruna Samant, Varda Samant, Prathamesh Naik performed karaoke songs. At the end of the program, food was served to the attendees.
The Pandurang Pundalik Sarnaik Prize for the school year 2024-25 was presented to Shreyas Chandrashekhar Barve and Amulya Hemant Satam. The scholarship programe was started 20 years ago at ASD Topiwalla High School where Aba Sarnaik, the patriarch of the Sarnaik family matriculated in the first batch.
12 contestants participated in this competition which was held in two rounds. Adv. Dilip Thakur, Malvan and Shri. Ajit Gosavi, Talere were the honourable judges.

Radharang Foundation organized a table tennis competition for the year 2024-25 at Annasaheb Desai Vidya Mandir, Parule in three groups. Mr. Panchalinge of the high school conducted the competition efficiently. 26 children of this school participated. On this occasion, Shri Amey Desai and Mrs. Aruna Ramakant Samant of Radharang Foundation were present. Many thanks to the school's headmaster Shri Sachin Mane and the school executive committee for allowing us to use the school premises for conducting the competition. Radharang Foundation organised its much awaited annual Half Marathon. Over 500 participants, young and old participated. Here is the testimony of one of them:
By running today, I completed my 93rd half marathon. I am 64 years old and I have achieved this milestone in just about one and a half years. On 15th August, 2024, I ran the "Amrit Mahotsav 75 half marathon" to pay tribute to the freedom fighters who made invaluable contributions to the independence of my country. For my efforts, I was felicitated by the founder president of "Obesity and Diabetes Free World Mission" Dr. Jagannath Dixit in Pune on 05.01.2025. Similarly, The Radharang Foundation felicitated me in Sindhudurg district on 02.02.2025 at Parule by giving me a badge of honor. I was overwhelmed by this honour.
I am grateful to the founder of Radharang Foundation, the Sarnaik family, the President of the Foundation, all the office bearers, all the members and Dr. Prashant Samant Sir for this recognition.

Sushila Ganesh Gavankar, known as Mai was born in the village of Sonawade near Kudal. She was affectionate by nature and beloved of everyone, from young children to the elderly. Moving to Mumbai, she worked as the headmistress of a Hindi medium primary school at BPM High School in Khar. She was always curious and had an alert mind which kept her young until she passed away at the age of 98. It is appropriate that her memory is kept alive through the essay competition instituted by her daughter, Niranjana Gavankar.

Under the Anant Krishi Yojana of Radharang Foundation, a poultry farming activity was implemented for school students on a 50% subsidy basis. A total of 431 chickens were distributed to students of two schools, Madhyamik Vidyalaya Madyachiwadi and Annasaheb Desai Vidyamandir Parule. 86 students have taken advantage of this scheme and Rs. 43,100 was spent for the scheme. This scheme is getting a good response from the students and parents, too, are urging RRF to continue the scheme every year. Special mention must be made of Deepak Samant who has made special efforts to ensure the success of the programme.
Under the Anant Krishi Yojana of Radharang Foundation, simple loans are given to farmers to help them broaden their crops. The idea is for the recipient to return the funds so that they may benefit others. From this year, the aim has been changed to make the funds a donation. In the first such transaction, Vitthal Ganpat Bodekar was given Rs. 25,000 for the purchase of a cow. We wish him every success going forward.
One of the many initiatives of Radharang Foundation is to provide financial assistance of Rs. 5000/- each to 2 needy girls from rural areas of Sindhudurg district. Radharang Foundation and Dr. Urmila and Dr. Tanmay Lal donated the cheque in memory of Urmila's father Late Anil (Hari) Sadashiv Tirodkar.

The ceremony was held at the annual general meeting of the parents of Malgaon English School.
One of the many activities of Radharang Foundation is a scholarship instituted in memory of the former principal of Narmadabai Anant Shivaji Desai Vidyalaya, Walaval, Late Govind Mukund Ambeskar and his wife Late Sumati Govind Ambeskar by their daughter, Pushpatai Chittal, Bangalore and in the memory of Kishore Pandurang Sarnaik by the Sarnaik family. A promising, needy, intelligent student of the school, Kumar Kaustubh Krishna Chavan is identified for the award. Current principal of the school, Shri Kothawale Sir thanked the donors. Mrs. Aruna Ramakant Samant gave a brief information about Radharang Foundation, Late Kishore Pandurang Saranaik, Late Govind Ambeskar, Late Sumati Govind Ambeskar and respected Pushpatai Chittal and thanked Anant Shivaji Desai and other teachers and students on behalf of Radharang Foundation. This program was planned very well by Shri Shripad Sahadev Desai. The three first rank students of this school, Class 7 Kumari Anushka Gangaram Kochrekar, Class 8 Kumar Jayesh Love Raul and Class 9 Kumar Atharva Vilas Mathkar were also given cheques.

An art competition was held for children studying in 3rd and 4th standard. The competition, organised by Ameya Desai, is an annual feature held in memory of Late Mohan Subrao Samant and Maruti Suryaji Naik. Goods, clothes and snacks were presented to residents of Jivhala Sevashram under "Anil/Anuradha Tirodkar Sadaprem". This is a program which has been made possible thanks to a donation by Dr. Urmila and Dr. Tanmay Lal. The joy on the faces of the elderly as well as the children was indescribable. Jivhala Sevashram is run by Shri Suresh Birje and his family. RRF committee members, Mrs. Swati Walawalkar, Shri Prathamesh Naik, Mrs. Purva Naik, Shri Amey Desai, Shri Sachin Samant, Shri Santosh Samant and Mrs. Aruna Samant were present to wish the residents a happy Diwali.
Meena Ambeskar was a well beloved teacher at Narmada Anant Desai Vidyalaya, Walawala who understood the importance of education. Her son, Subhash Zarapkar and his daughter Bhakti Mendonsa have created a scholarship in memory of Mrs. Bhavana/Meena Subhash Zarapkar to be awarded to meritorious children in 5th and 8th standard. This year, 21 names were nominated from Sindhudurg schools for consideration this scholarship. The following children have been given an award of Rs 2000 each.

This poetry recitation competition was organized in memory of Mrs. Anuradha Anil (Hari) Tirodkar in the Chintan, Hemant, Shailaja Parab Hall of Malgaon English School Malgaon . Like every year, this year too, this poetry recitation competition was organized for students of Sindhudurg district. The topic of the competition was Rain". The competition received an enthusiastic response from the students. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and offering a wreath to Goddess Saraswati by the dignitaries. On this occasion, Radharang Foundation President Hemant Khanolkar, Madyachi Wadi Principal Deepak Samant, Malgaon English School Principal M. B. The last event of 2025 was The Late Vasant Desai Memorial SwarVasant Singing Competition which was sponsored by Radharang Foundation and Swaryog Mumbai, and organized by the Parule Yuva Kala Krida Mandal to commemorate the 50th death anniversary of the renowned composer, a son of Sindhudurg. The competition was held at the Shri Adinath Temple in Parule. 28 contestants from Sindhudurg and Goa had registered for this competition, out of which 17 had been selected for the final round. Adding lustre to the competition, renowned accordionist Mr. Suraj Sathe and Mr. Pradeep Desai from Mumbai were present as judges for the competition. The inauguration and prize distribution was done by the renowned singer, Fayyaz.
At the request of the audience, Mr. Suraj Sathe performed on the accordion, captivating the audience with melodious tunes, receiving a standing ovation. It was a once in a life time experience for the audience to hear a world-renowned and revered artist from the music field, who has played for numerous composers from R D Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and Madan Mohan to Nadeem-Shravan, and whose music has graced the songs of singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, and Mohammed Rafi. This opportunity was made possible thanks to Mr. Pradeep Desai and Mr. Rajan Naik. At the audience's insistence, Mr. Sathe played four delightful songs on Mr. Rajan Naik's 150-year-old accordion.

The devotional song competition which is organised annually was held with great enthusiasm at the Shri Dev Adinath Temple. Eleven children aged 11-17 years participated. The competition was organized along with the Parule Yuva Kala Krida Mandal. RRF's committee members, Mrs. Aruna Samant, Mrs. Purva Naik, Ajit Parulekar, Sachin Samant, Amey Desai, and Dr. Prashant Samant were present on the occasion.
