These words were written with love by a dear friend of RRF. We reproduce them here.
Friend! The reason why these three verses and twelve lines come to the lips today is because our Radharang Foundation is completing a milestone!'' Ten years ago, Raghunathrao Sarnaik, a young man of only 80 years of age from Malgaon village in Sindhudurg district, founded this institution! Although he is now settled in America with his family, he is always focused on the people of his village! That is why he established RRF in memory of his mother Radhabai and father Pandurang. Our Raghunathkaka, his family and numerous other supporters have ensured that RRG is seen as a support to Malvani people. Although the motto of the organization is “*Protection of Traditions and Nurture of the Future”*, many activities have been done that are beyond this. The greatness of an organization is not in its motto.
*समस्ता धीर तो द्यावा,*
*सुखाचा शब्द बोलावा ।*
*अनाथा साह्य ते द्यावे,*
*जगाला प्रेम अर्पावे ॥*
I feel that those organisations that follow the path shown by Sane Guruji are the ones that will grow. In that sense, Radharang Foundation has retained its glory among many other institutions. From providing computers and other essential facilities to Malgaon High School to holding a taluka level story telling competition.
Raghunath Kaka brought together his family, relatives, like-minded people, organizations to implement various schemes for the educational, social and economic development of Sindhudurg district.
*Providing educational assistance to meritorious but financially backward students,
*Children's painting competition for pre-primary school students,
*Providing self-employment through poultry farming,
*Endeavors like tree plantation, turmeric cultivation to raise the economic status of the family,
*Conducting special quality development projects for students of class 5th and 8th
*Sports competitions for secondary schools,
*Mathematics and science scholarship competition for 9th standard students.
*Distribution of seeds to needy and budding farmers,
*Promotion of small scale industry for women
*Abhangavani competition for senior citizens,
*Gita Adhyaya class ,
*Radharang Library
*Health Fund
*Anant Krishi Yojana
All these activities have helped in village development. etc. are ongoing activities of this organization. The Radharang family has expanded from Devgarh to Vengurle and from Malvan to Sawantwadi. Everyone is offering their contributions, but Radharang's future is very bright as the 'original source' named Raghunath Sarnaik continues to provide motivation. No prophet is needed to narrate this. It is the spirit of Raghunathkaka that tells us the future.
