On January 14, 2019 this annual event for senior citizens was organized by Parule Kala Krida Mandal. The competition was judged by Mr. Rajan Madye, Mr. Kedar Mhaskar and Mrs. Aruna Samant. The prizes were sponsored by RadhaRang Foundation. The winners as follows:
First prize: Mr. Shekhar Panshikar
Second prize: Mr. Dhondu Satardekar
Third Prize: Mr. Anant Gosavi
Consolation prize: Mr. Vilas Samant
A multipurpose playground and volleyball court, financed by Sarnaik Family Foundation and RadhaRang Foundation, was constructed at Mohanrao M. Parulekar Marathi Primary School, Malvan. School children from Malvan and surrounding areas will be benefited by the sports facility.
RadhaRang Foundation organized a Bhajan Competition under the guidance of Mr. Santosh Walawalkar in a simple setting at Deogad. Seven groups of school students participated in the event which was enjoyed by all. The results are as follows.
First Prize: Smt. N.S. Pant Walawalkar Jr. College, Deogad
Second Prize: Shirgaon High School
Third Prize: Madhyamik Vidya Mandir, Tembavli.
A Bhajan program was organized by the girls of Vetore High School at the residence of Mr. Deepak Naik at Vetore under the guidance of Ms. Swati Walavalkar. The program was very much appreciated by everyone who attended.
This annual event, which is extremely popular among school children, sponsored by RRF was held in the month of October. This year the topic was "Stories of Freedom Fighters". The results are as follows:
RadhaRang volunteer Ms. Dipti Prabhu compiled a summary of the writeup from twelve students of four schools on the topic 'RadhaRang chi Vatchaal' in Konkani Language. Ms. Swati Walavalkar put it on paper in her beautiful handwriting.
The unique and experimental Poultry Project was kick started in Madhyachi Wadi under the guidance of Mr. Deepak Samant. Twenty five students were distributed poultry under this project. They will get to keep a rooster and a hen for one year. This will provide money for that year's education or protein for one year. It is sponsored by RadhaRang and if the pilot study is successful, it will be applied to the whole school.
RadhaRang Foundation sponsored Prashna Manjusha 2018 (Talent Search Quiz) was organized by Mr. Ameya Desai and his team of teachers from Annasaheb Desai Vidyalaya, Parule. Fourteen schools participated in this Talent Search competition with seven teams each having two participants from seventh and eighth grades. They were quizzed on general knowledge, current affairs and their school syllabi. This program was attended by parents, teachers and students of the participating schools. Winners received prizes and certificates.

The annual RRF drawing competitions were held in various schools. In Devi Sateri High School, Vetore, 82 students participated under the guidance of principal Ms. Swati Walawalkar and Mr. Bhogann. In Achare, 78 students of 3rd and 4th grade from 12 schools in the area participated under the supervision of Mr. Suresh Thakur. Mr. Santosh Walawalkar, Swami Vasant sawant and Mr. Deepak Sawant organized the drawing competitions in Deogad, Tendoli and Madhyachi Wadi respectively.
Mr. Subodh Parulekar from Seattle, USA, visited Parule in July, 2018. He was accompanied by his wife Sonali, son Parth, daughter Simran along with his parents and uncle Mr. Santosh Sarnaik. They were welcomed enthusiastically by the students of Desai High School, Parule and the local RRF volunteers Mrs. Swati Walawalkar, Mr. Deepak Samant and Mr. Amey Desai.
The highlight of the occasion was piano recital by Parth and singing by Simran and her grandmother Mrs. Karuna Parulekar. There were also inspiring speeches by Mr. Prabhakar Naik, Mr. Subodh Parulekar and Arunatai.
Mr. Santosh Sarnaik presented a scholarship of Rs. 5,000 on behalf of RRF, to a well deserving 10th grade student, Santosh Manohar Dhuri. He will continue to receive the scholarship if he keeps up his grades.
Mr. Subodh Parulekar donated ceiling fans worth Rs. 10,000 to Desai High School, Parule.
Vetore High School and a school in Madhyachi wadi received ceiling fans worth Rs. 3,000 each on behalf of RRF. Letterhead for RRF was also finalized with inputs from Mr. Santosh Sarnaik and Mr. Subodh Parulekar.

Ms. Swati Walawalkar, Secretary for the RadhaRang Foundation has come up with the following plan for 2018. The activities include yoga, poultry farming, honey bee farming, talent search among several others in addition to all the other yearly activities.
RRF member from Houston, USA, Dr. Moreshwar Desai, along with his wife Aparna, son Yash and daughter Anisha, visited Path/ Parule and Madhyachiwadi. RRF's local committee members welcomed the Desai family with great enthusiasm. They visited the schools, met students, saw the various projects run by the schools and visited the construction site of the school at Madhyachiwadi which is being constructed from the generous donation by Drs. Ashok and Sharada Sarnaik.
Desai family was particularly impressed by the Poultry Project where 20 students will be given a rooster and a hen for one year. This will provide money for that year's education or protein for one year. It is sponsored by RadhaRang and Mr. Desai observed that it's an absolutely ingenious idea. If the pilot study is successful, it will be applied to the whole school. If it works, it should be adopted by local and state government. Also, the Honey Bee farming project will start in September.
They also donated a microscope in the name of Mrs. Shalini Desai and Mr. Neelkanth Desai.
Yash and his sister Anisha performed the Indian national anthem and US national anthem and other musical pieces which the audience enjoyed thoroughly.

Manasi Mangesh Parab, Siddhi Vasudev Madye and Chinmayee Ramkrushna Prabhu Ajgaonkar were the top three scholarship winners. Raj Sayaji Bondar, Namrata Bhanudas Bidye, Siddhi Pandurang Khanolkar and Sushant Bhanudas Kochrekar were the consolation prize winners.
