A QR Code stands for Quick Response Code and is a machine-readable Japanese optical barcode that translates graphics into words and pictures. It is most commonly used with a mobile phone camera app to direct you to a website or PDF file.

Like a grocery item barcode that is read at checkout, this QR Code not only describes the product, manufacturer and date produced, but this code can link to a book novel sized PDF file, a photograph or a page on the manufacturer's Internet website.

QR Codes use your phone camera to auto re-direct you to URL redirection built into your camera.
