Art competition run by the Humane Society International, the AMCS and the SA Museum
Throughout this program, students honed their artistic skills and let their creativity soar as they delved into the themes of nature, conservation, and the transformative power of art in raising awareness. They eagerly took part in the Young Artists Competition, facilitated by esteemed organizations such as the Humane Society International, the AMCS, and the SA Museum. The highlight? The chance for their artwork to be paired with renowned artists such as Janet Laurence, Reko Rennie, and Ken Done, who would then create original pieces inspired by the winning children's work. With a strong emphasis on crafting meaningful and impactful artwork, students channeled their ideas into pieces that not only expressed their creativity but also served as powerful advocates for conservation efforts. It was a journey of artistic growth, environmental consciousness, and the realisation of the profound impact that young artists can make on the world around them.
