Art competition run by the Humane Society International, the AMCS and the SA Museum
Throughout this program, students developed their artistic skills and unleashed their creativity as they explored themes of nature, conservation, and the power of art to raise awareness. They enthusiastically participated in the Young Artists Competition, organized by respected organisations like Humane Society International, the AMCS, and the SA Museum. A key highlight was the opportunity for their artwork to be paired with well-known artists such as Janet Laurence, Reko Rennie, and Ken Done, who would create original pieces inspired by the winning works.
With a strong focus on creating meaningful and impactful art, students poured their ideas into pieces that not only showcased their creativity but also acted as powerful advocates for conservation. This journey fostered artistic growth, heightened environmental awareness, and underscored the significant influence young artists can have on the world around them.
