"A is for Australian Reefs: A Factastic Tour", by Frane Lessac

Students created a mixed-media artwork inspired by Australian reefs, using elements from the book "A is for Australian Reefs; a Factastic Tour" by Frane Lessac, while promoting advocacy for climate change and the conservation of our reefs.

Exploring Australian Flora through Margaret Preston's Art.

Students developed skills in drawing, cutting and composition by first analysing the work of Margaret Preston. They were asked to emulate the style of Preston through drawing native flora in detail and adding paper collage with a focus on Australian natives.

"Claymation Adventures with Wallace and Gromit and Indigenous Art"

"Students will explore the world of claymation through Nick Park's Wallace & Gromit, learning about the stop-motion animation technique. They will develop their own animated movies, create storyboards and backdrops, and draw inspiration from Indigenous storytelling traditions to infuse their claymation projects with cultural significance."
