This is Me! - self portraits inspired by Frida Kahlo
Our learning aim in this lesson was to create a background for a self portrait influenced by famous Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. We explored portraits and self-portraits, looking at examples of Frida Kahlo’s work in conjunction with the 2023 Archibald Prize. Students created a background that related to them and their environment or home in some way.
