Prasannanshu is an M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Delhi; M.Sc. (‘European Masters in Clinical Linguistics’), on the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship of the European Union (Rijksuniversiteit, Groningen, Netherlands, and University of Potsdam, Germany; he also holds an LL.B. and M.A. (English). He was a Visiting Fellow of the British Academy and the Institute for the Advanced Studies in the Humanities, UK.

Lincom Europa, Germany, published his book that deals with language breakdown. He has published several other books, and papers in international and national journals; Edited national and international volumes, and has delivered many lectures in India and abroad including at the University of Hamburg; Edinburgh Law School; University of Glasgow. He has taught at several universities and institutions, including Rai University, MAIT, Skyline University College, Sharjah, AIIMS, ICAI, Bureau of Parliamentary Studies, Delhi Judicial Academy, and trained people at many other institutions.

He is a PhD examiner and guide, and a member of the Publication Committee of the Linguistic Society of India (2018-20).

As a Visiting Professor, he has delivered a series of lectures at Université Paris Nanterre, France, and Università Del Piemonte Orientale (UPO), Italy; He has been a Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, Edinburgh, UK, and a British Academy Visiting Scholar.

I was lucky to have the opportunity of spending a lot of time over a period of three memorable days with Prof. Noam Chomsky.
