Some Pokémon can particularly gain the Delta(???) or/and the Delta(Stellar) type which give them body-horror-like/glitch-like traits or particular abilities to surpass type weaknesses by becoming neutral to all. Those with Delta(Stellar) often end up with rainbow-colored crystallization on them as well.
Two new types have been discovered. The Sound Type, and the Light Type. Two never before seen types that have recently been reclassified in the Kogranar region.
Some Pokemon that previously didn't have such types have mysteriously been given the ability to take on this new typing, The phenomenon is something that ties into the natural chaotic nature of the region, but seems to maybe spawn out of a connection to something much deeper.
However. We do know some things.
Sound types are a versatile typing, often using loud moves and dealing a fair deal of status or physical moves from a distance. Most of their moves include being as loud and scary as possible, and are usually a great supporting pokemon. Most pokemon that are the new sound typing were previously normal types, but since the typing has been found they've strangely become more energetic and more rambunctious. Tapping into once undiscovered music from inside of them. Sound types are known for being loud and announcing their presence to everybody around them- Often to the dismay of the people around them. However this quality makes them useful in drawing attention from would-be-fatal attacks away from weaker pokemon. Sound types also often are distractors, which play in their favor when dealing with the rampant dungeon madness.
Pokemon has notable sound-related qualities (Exploud for its mouth, Noivern and Audino for its ears)
Related to singing, instruments, or music in general
Has patterns resembling instruments, notes, soundwaves, etc
Demeanor can vary, calm for implied listeners and hyper/cheery for shouters/singers
Could resemble a genre of music
Sound-type traits are “optionally shown”, sometimes they refer to common behaviors a pokemon might show (ex. Jigglypuff)
The Sound type has a normal amount of weaknesses and strengths.
Sound types deal super-effective damage against : Fire, Psychic, Fighting,
(You blow on fire to put it out, You lose concentration with loud noises)
Sound types deal resisted damage against : Ice, Flying, Electric, Light,
(Snow Muffles, Air often muffles/doesn't carry, Electric and Sound work together usually, Light speed is faster than sound)
Sound Types take super-effective damage from : Ghost, Ground, Bug,
(Sometimes noise boxes are used to detect ghosts, Ground does not transfer sound well, and bugs are so fucking loud)
Sound types resist damage from : Electric, Dragon
(Electric and sound work together)

Light types are a powerful typing in the same vein as Dragon or Fairy, and with the introduction of this new type comes a slew of new moves- as well as pre-existing moves that now carry the type. The Light type is a typing full of hope and goodness, being a direct opposite of darkness and dismay, a strange thing that was borne out of the hopelessness running amuck in Kogranar. Light Types appear restless in the region, and pokemon who previously did not have the typing and now do, find themselves straying far away from dungeons most of the time. They seem to be especially effected by the Dungeon Madness, and seem to ever worry about other pokemon and their injuries. Light Types are naturally drawn to be healers and protectors, a stark contrast to the loud sound type.
Whites, yellows, light blues
Motifs of the sun, stars, or anything else that could produce light
Maybe rainbow-like features/motifs
Bioluminescence
Soft, bright, cheery demeanor, could possibly take the saying of “ray/ball of sunshine” literally
Possible subtle angelic references in design
Can embody justice, heroism and pure of heart/pure good, as Dark type in japanese is referred to as the Evil type.
The Light type does not carry many strengths against other types, but possesses very little weaknesses. The typing's true power lies in the many status moves that are available to it and varied move sets for Light types are encouraged, as they are naturally walled by Steel and Ice.
Light types deal super-effective damage against : Dark Ghost
(Light is a ‘holy’ type, and thus it's strong against evil doers and spirits.)
Light types deal resisted damage against : Fairy, Fighting
(Subsequently, Light is resisted by another ‘good’ type- Fairy. Fighting types are often ‘heros’ as well.)
Light Types deal no damage against: Steel, Ice
(It reflects right off.)
Light Types take super-effective damage from : Dark, Ghost
(Remember, evil and good are just two edges of the same double-sided sword..)
Light types resist damage from : Ground, Fighting, Sound
(Throwing dirt or punches at the bright glowing orbs won’t do much, sorry. Light is also faster than sound)
