Compared to their evolutions, Kogranarian Shroomish are a relatively docile species. They tend to spend this stage of their lives skittering across the forest floor in large familial groups known as Colonies. They take strange formations as they move together, sleeping in large yet neat circles within clearings when it's time to rest. Many folktales speak of how these Kogranarian Mushroom circles act as gateways to another world when entered, though that's known to be [mostly] fiction.

It's not uncommon to see Kogranarian Brelooms guiding this regional variant of Shroomish through dungeons, acting as a guardian for the smaller mushroom Pokemon colonies in exchange for their assistance in the Breloom's quest to evolve.

Kogranarian Breloom are a rather eccentric species of Pokemon. Having grown out of their docile lifestyle of being a Shroomish, they now seek out powerful sources of magic and mystery in the hopes of improving their own abilities. Kogranarian Breloom have an innate urge to seek out areas with high concentrations of Dungeon Madness especially, though the harmful side effects of this phenomenon never seem to take proper hold.

Many Kogranarian Breloom can be seen leading around colonies of Kogranarian Shroomish during their adventures, offering them protection in exchange for assistance towards their goals. Unlike their evolution, Kogranarian Brelooms have yet to fully realize the severity of their abilities, and can often be caught casting curses or spreading around their spores with little caution. Despite that, a trait that the entirety of this evolution line shares is a deep respect for nature, and most Kogranarian Breloom try to respect their environment [even if it oftentimes doesn't end very well.]

After having lived a long life of seeking out the depths of Kogranar's dungeons and the madness within, Morteloom has finally evolved into its strongest form. Only the most strong-willed Kogranarian Brelooms are capable of making it into this evolution, but those who put in the effort are rewarded with immense power. Morteloom are the focus of many folktales and scary stories, as they often linger in lands where even skilled explorers are warned not to tread, sustaining themselves on Kogranar's ample amounts of latent magic.
