Games Day
July 3, 2022 & July 5th, 2022
Our Unit has an activity every once a term where different patrols could come together to play different sports like Frisbee, Soccer and basketball. This helps scouts bond together and have a fun and interesting activity once in a while.
Here is what we have done in last year's games day.
Football
Being one of the sports that our Scout members are interested in, we played football as a unit. While having fun, we were also able to learn new things like techniques to playing this game, and values such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
Kim's Games
Kim's Games is one of the more interesting and unique games played by the scouts and the military, where we are to memorise a selection of objects. Through this interesting game, we were tested on our memorisation skills.
From these activities, we will be able to learn how to work cohesively as a team and have good sportsmanship skills. Apart from that, we would also be able to bond together and learn more about our peers.
It is also a great avenue to destress, as the examinations were around the corner.
If you enjoy sports and would like to make new friends while learning together with them, Scouts would be a suitable CCA for you. Looking forward to you joining us!
