When you update the due date on a current account and saved it status went to past due. The amount due is not the customer's past due it's the prorate charges
*An agent can move the due date for a max of 7 days for bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payment frequency.
*For weekly payment frequency the maximum days you can move the due date will be limited to 3 days.
-Account on current status to make a due date change
“Scheduled Due Date” choose the current Due Date
“Next Due Date” is the NEW due date change
-Account on past due to make a due date change
“Scheduled Due Date” choose the next due date
“Next Due Date” is the NEW due date change
*A frequency change can be done even if the customer is unable to pay prorated amount at that time
*An SPA can be set for the prorated amount to their next due date
*Advise customer if SPA does not clear account will remain past due for the prorated amount
*Document that a frequency change was made and that an SPA was scheduled with the exact amount of the prorated amount
*This does not affect their 90 day as long as it clears
Never change Next payment date when changing frequency to Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly
Semi-monthly is the ONLY time you would need to change the dates on “First payment date” and “Second payment date” to the dates the account would have started, had the customer started the lease on Semi- monthly.
