The Reticulated Gas System also known as Piped Gas System is an Advanced system to supply LPG to households as compared to the conventional cylinder supply and essentially is a piped network that supplies cooking gas to individual flats through a centralized gas bank/cylinder bank. LPG from Cylinder manifold or Bulk Storage is piped through the header & thereafter it branches out to each residential kitchen. The gas consumption meters are installed within each flat to record gas consumed and billed periodically as per applicable prevailing tariff.
- consumer need not have an existing gas connection or required to avail a new connection.
- Uninterrupted gas supply – 24/7.
- Every connection is equipped with a postpaid meter installed at individual flat to record consumption transparently.
- Pay on consumption and no additional service charges.
- Dedicated technicians located in the building to attend if there is any service request.
- Comprehensive maintenance includes periodic inspection of piped gas system from the source to each flat kitchen/delivery point.
Safety:
- The installation of LPG Gas line is allotted for domestic consumption only and any violation will lead to immediate disconnection of gas service.
- All safety regulations for use of LPG should be adhered to always.
- If applicable, keep your tenants informed about their responsibilities while they are staying in PAH.
- Gas stove valves should be turned off when the cooking equipment is not being used.
- Any gas leakages must be reported to the maintenance team or vendor without delay and rectified.
- Any kind of modification to common gas pipe line (original supplied by the builder), meter, regulator & valves within your flat is strictly prohibited.
Guidelines for Bill Generation & Payment:
- Bill will be generated on 25th day of each month and bill will be issued to the resident on the spot. This process may continue for some more days considering availability of people in their flat.
- Kindly allow the vendor to enter in to your flat to take gas consumption meter reading & generate bill.
- Bill calculation methodology
- Postpaid meter measures gas consumption in terms of volume.
- Standard cylinder weight is 14.2 kg, (i.e volume of 5.68 m3)
- For an example, if present cost of one cylinder is rupees 766, then cost of 1-unit gas will be 766/5.68 = 134.86 rupees.
- Latest cost per cylinder will be used for calculating monthly bill and invoice generation.
- Bill amount must be paid on or before 7th of each month to the vendor by the user (If some one's bill generated for any reason suppose on 3rd or 4th of the month, the due date will be still 7th of that month).
- You can pay by cash or swipe and receipt will be issued immediately.
- If bill is not paid within due date, then penalty of rupees 100 will be collected per month.
- If second month bill is not paid (including old dues) within due date, then gas supply will be terminated to that flat immediately.
- To resume gas supply, full due amount must be cleared along with processing charge of rupees 500.
- If tenant has moved out without paying due amount, then respective flat owner will be held responsible to clear this due amount.
