Factions
Guilds
Free-Standing
Consists of the three (3) major governing bodies that are located in their respective territories on sim.
Factions have three (3) guild slots that are determined by the Faction Leader.
Faction Leaders are chosen and approved by staff through an intense vetting process. They are considered Origins of Sin Staff.
Helheim (lawful neutral)
The ancient Kingdom of Helheim has stood the test of time and survived catastrophe more than once. What holds it together is the snail's pace of bureaucracy, for better or worse. Laws often have the affect of breeding dutiful and chivalrous citizens, or underground criminal networks.
Skull Coast (chaotic neutral)
Skull Coast denizens do as they please! The culture on the Skull Coast is, for all intents and purposes, chaotic and tribal. They don't cater to anyone but the Gorgun. On closer inspection, one can find that the residents of the Skull Coast exist with an array of pigmented skins and different goals in mind.
Cabbala Amartia (evil)
Cabbala has always been what the 'good' folk of the surface world see as a place of villainy, dark magic, and brutality. However, under the surface one can find a bustling hierarchical society with an array of individuals that range from the benevolent to the cruel, lawful to chaotic.
Guilds are located and aligned with a faction. Each faction may have up to three guilds.
They are led by the creator of the guild, or an individual appointed to run a guild by a Faction Leader.
Guilds are allotted 200 Li that includes a stronghold by their faction.
STIPULATIONS:
All guilds must be within OS theme.
Guilds cannot be race/species/gender/sex specific.
Potential Guild Leader must have been consistently active within the faction (for a minimum of one month) they want to make a guild in.
Guild Leader must be in good standing with the sim.
A potential Guild must have four (4) unique players in addition to the leader; alt characters of the group members are not accepted.
Please fill out the application and send it to the Faction Leader you want to be a Guild Leader for. These are located in the OS Landing Zone on the Information Board in world.
DISCLOSURES:
If your Guild does not fit within the scope of the Faction you petition, it could be turned down.
Once the application has been submitted Out-of-Character and Petitioned In-Character, the Faction Lead has two (2) weeks to either approve or decline the petition.
The approval of a petitioning Guild is at the sole discretion of the Faction Lead.

Anyone can make a Free-Standing Group within the Origins of Sin setting as long as it follows OS's theme.
They are not administered by OS's Staff, provided it follows all Sim rules and SL TOS.
These groups are not affiliated with any faction or guild and are determined by the players with-in the group.
They are not provided with a stronghold, but can make use of player rentals (with renter's permission) and Deer Skull buildings.
They are not allotted a certain number of sim prim/li resources and must adhere to the Rezzing Rules.
