Rental Rules

Hello! Please contact Staff if you are interested in renting a home or selling products as a Vendor at OS!

Thank you for your interest in renting. There are a few rules that you must agree to when you rent here at Origins of Sin:

• All Linden Lab's Terms of Service must be adhered to.

• Must join the OS Land Group. An automatic invite is sent out upon initial payment.

• One rental per player, regardless of avatars or characters. 

• If you decide to be a tenant on someone else's rental, it could potentially affect the prim count.

• Rental prims must be used to furnish rental. For rezzing prims outside your rental, please see 'Rezzing Guidelines'.

• No special rentals will be created and no upgrades to prim allowances will be made at this time.

• Must stay within rental prim allowance.

• All objects must not exceed 2500KB in scripts otherwise they will be returned.

• Rentals are your private OOC zones unless opened up as an RP Business, to which it becomes open for rp. (Please see Rezzing Rules for businesses)

• Keep furniture in theme with our Sim. I.E. Fantasy, Medieval, Gorean. 

• You can change freely within your rental, but outfits or objects worn that can be seen or heard outside of the rental, that are not in theme, are prohibited.

• If a rental expires there is a 36hr leeway before objects are returned. After 36hrs, renter will be removed from the Land Group by the Group Bot. Once removed from the land group, items are returned after 3hr due to auto return. 

• If for any reason the sim closes and there is still time on your rental, please contact OriginsOfSin Resident who will issue you a refund.

• Landing Zone Vendors: objects promoted and sold in the market of the Landing Zone must be within sim theme and cannot exceed 25li.
