Patient Position: Supine with the arms down by the sides of the body.   The arms may be placed in traction to ensure visibility of the lower cervical vertebrae.

Most Likely Surgeon Position: Patient's right side.

Monitor Position: Left side of the patient by the patient's feet.

C-arm Position: Patient's left side.

Expected Projections:  AP and lateral

Noteworthy: Include C1 in images so the correct level can be verified.  You may need to do a cone down of C6-C7 if the patient has large shoulders for your final lateral projection.
