9(a) - Handbook & Division Specific Policies

POLICE HANDBOOK

• 1.1 It is your responsibility to make sure you read through and understand all components of the Police Handbook. 

• 1.2 The handbook should be adhered to at all times when possible. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

• 1.3 Images found within the Handbook do not constitute policy, but simply provide a broad, generalized representation of a subject matter.

DIVISION SPECIFIC POLICIES

• 2.1 Policies created by each command team are to be followed by the officers that falls under the command teams chain of command.

• 2.2 All additions, removals and changes made to Division Specific Policies regarding disciplinary actions must be approved by the Office of Professional Standards.
