You will know when a Bank robbery has begun when you receive a radio ping stating so. Upon a bank robbery alert being received:
Any Officer in Patrol gear or Tactical Firearms Gear who are available to respond to the incident and aren't currently occupied should make their way to one of the marked locations above code 3.
If possible, Check the active warrants page to both get an idea of how many suspects there are and what the suspects look like. Upon doing so, ensure you communicate how many suspects there are down radio, if someone else hasn't already.
Officers who do not have Tactical Firearms gear on but have access to it should head to the station, put on their Tactical Firearms Gear and then respond code 3 with the Bearcat.
Dispatchers should declare open communications and get eyes on the cameras, Ensuring they can get an idea on where the suspects currently are and how far into the robbery process they are.
During a bank robbery, anywhere highlighted in red on this map is considered the "danger zone" where suspect contact is most likely to occur.
1: The Bank fire exit should be contained by Officers with guns drawn on it at all times. When the Banks security system kicks in, This is the only door that remains unlocked. It is imperitive that this door is watched and covered at all times, to prevent any successful escapes.
2: During a bank robbery, The bank security system will seal this entrance shut, as well as block all the windows. This should not be considered an entry point.
3: Likewise, The side entrance will also seal shut during the bank robbery. This cannot be used to make entry into the building.
4: The pumping station on Stalburg way is directly linked to the bank vaults air vent system through a series of maintenance tunnels. As such, It should be contained, as it can be used as an escape route for the fleeing suspects. This entrance is attached to the building with windows that can be seen through to spot any suspects. The mark on the map faces the door.
5: This is the second exit at the Stalburg pumping station. Next to it is a position of elevation that grants limited oversight into the tunnels, Allowing you to spot suspects using that exit route.
6: The second entrance or exit through the service tunnels underneath the bank is located here outside of the Regals Apartments. Officers should contain and surround this area during the course of a bank robbery.
Moving into the bank during a bank robbery should only be done by Officers with access to a primary weapon, Such as Tactical Firearms Officers and supervisors.
The incident commander, That being the supervisor or highest ranking officer who has taken lead of the situation, should be the one to authorise an attempt at pushing into the building.
When moving inside you should do so in an appropriately paced manner making sure that it is clear in all corners with TFU leading. Clear all the rooms of the building, not just the pre vault and staff area.
If entry to the tunnel system leading to the bank vault is accessible, then the bank cannot be called code 4 until that system is cleared too. Officers should clear the tunnel systems after the bank has been cleared if there is any possibility that suspects are inside.
The Incident Commander is responsible for communicating that the Bank is clear.
Supervisors, Medics, and TFU officers will move inside the vault and account for all illegal items are accounted for. Medics will give anyone medical attention to those who need it.
When clarified as a Code 4 by the Incident Commander, all officers on scene are free to leave and perform their regular duties.
