Dr. Amen Dhyllon - NPI#1437459609
CHILDREN MAY BE SEEN FROM THE AGES OF 7 AND OLDER
Will discuss at office level
Dr Dhyllon has changed his prices for Ret replacement
It is now $200 per arch for all active patients (patients he has treated)
Still $300 for any person who was not treated by Dr Dhyllon. (Treatment means they had Braces by Dr Dhyllon)
When scheduling patients, make sure they are FULLY REGISTERED. For specialty offices, NO QUICK REGISTRATION!
Make sure you ask the patients when you are registering them for all of the different insurances they have and register them all!
If a patient present themselves with two different insurances, such as a state and non-state insurance, the STATE INSURANCE is ALWAYS SECONDARY. The NON-STATE INSURANCE is ALWAYS PRIMARY.
If a patient presents themselves with two different insurances, such as two PPO, DMO, DHMO, etc. you register the insurance according the date of birth of the policyholder.
If a patient presents themselves with two different insurances, such as two state insurances, one is most likely inactive because they no longer have that insurance so that would be the primary insurance and new active insurance would be the secondary insurance.
If a Pt calls in stating that they lost a bracket or if it is loose, it is OKAY for them to wait until their next scheduled appt to come in - make sure you update patients apt to show that they need a repair/ also make sure check that the apt is scheduled in the correct spot for repairs
HOWEVER, if the Pt is in pain schedule them ASAP
Send all Bondings and Debonding to the office or send an email. Do not schedule at call center level!!!
ALL NEW PATIENTS – Some new patients that are transferring to a different office, ask if they provide previous records and x-rays
HMO, DMO, DHMO need to have a specialty insurance referral different from their regular referral
DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY COC PTS. MUST SPEAK DIRECTLY WITH OFFICE. Make sure that you send an email to the office regarding any patients who has a COC. YOU may register patient but no apt can be made unless by office for patients apts until approved
** Please put in the ‘procedure to be done’ if the patient is bringing, emailing, faxing referrals and x-rays
