This is a quick and easy recipe that is incredibly versatile and easy for beginners. Apple cider and pork chops may seem like a weird, mix but when done correctly can be absolutely divine.
Ingredients:
4 center cut pork chops
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons of canola oil (Vegetable oil works as well)
1 ½ cups of apple cider or pure pressed apple juice
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon of whole grain or dijon mustard
1. Pat down pork chops until dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat your canola oil over medium heat and once shimmering, place pork chops in. Four minutes for each side.
2. Once you have removed the pork chops and they are cooked to your liking, in the same skillet, add your apple cider, brown sugar, and when reduced by about half, add your mustard. Add salt and pepper.
3. Simply pour the glaze over the porkchop, and you now have a delicious plate of apple cider pork chops. Enjoy!
