This is an all-time family favorite recipe straight from my aunt Debbie!
Ingredients
¾ cup all-purpose flour 3 tbs. Margarine, melted
4-serving size pkg. regular vanilla pudding mix 1 16 oz. can peach slices
1 tsp. Baking powder 1 8 oz pkg. Cream cheese
1 egg, beaten ½ cup of sugar
1 ⁄ 2 cup of milk 1 tbsp. Sugar
½ tsp. Ground cinnamon
In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, pudding mix, and baking powder. Combine egg, milk, and melted margarine, and add to dry ingredients. Mix well; spread in a greased 8x8x2 pan. Drain peaches, reserving ⅓ cup liquid. Chop peaches and sprinkle atop the batter. Beat together cream cheese, ½ cup of sugar, and reserved peach liquid. Pour on top of the peaches in the pan. Combine 1tbs. sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool. Serves about 9 people.
