The nonlinear and multidimensional interactions between the complex constituents of traditional Chinese medicine and human physiological systems are highly intricate, presenting significant challenges for research. In the process of TCM innovation and inheritance centered on clinical application, the apprenticeship system plays a vital role in academic medicine. By providing guidance, resources, and professional mentorship, it effectively enhances trainees' autonomy and proficiency. Furthermore, designing simulated scenarios allows learners to gain experience through real-world problem-solving, thereby promoting learning transfer.
This study designed a scenario-based educational game titled “榮藥使命,” utilizing SVVR for exploring simulated scenarios, Google Forms as the interactive dialogue platform, and generative AI as a real-time simulated mentor. This approach assists novice pharmacists in understanding the application of traditional Chinese medicine formulas. Preliminary results indicate the game significantly enhances learners' flow state, reduces cognitive load, and increases game acceptance.
