Many people have complained about whether online learning is as good as face-to-face learning, and there is not only one whether it is good or bad. They all share advantages and disadvantages. Some people like online learning, and others like face-to-face learning for many reasons. Lastly, There are some effects between these factors that cause students to face the school program, but in my personal opinion, face to face is better for students to learn.
Face-to-face helps students to be able to concentrate harder on learning because there'll be less distraction than if you were at home. You may feel more comfortable and learn more efficiently in a familiar, traditional classroom situation. They will make it hard to fall asleep face-to-face because their teacher could have the opportunity to help them keep track of their work and help them if they have any concerns or need more work to do to help them have better grades for a full year of school. As a result, students can gain greater understanding, stories, and real-world examples from teachers and other students. That's a better way for students to achieve their knowledge and improve brainstorming during face-to-face learning. Face-to-face learning also helps students get actual involvement in school, such as meeting new friends and creating more communication with other students. It helps them reduce depression and loneliness during an epidemic. They are given the ability to interact with their instructors and other students. It still requires self-discipline, as students are still needed to participate in class. However, even if students do not have much self-discipline, they can still sit in lectures and listen to their instructor. Those people who have community service or outdoor education help them learn more things, and an excellent environment for them to improve their knowledge.
The disadvantage of face-to-face learning caused people to take trains and buses to school. It makes them feel tired of transportation. You will need to travel, which can be expensive, time-consuming, and stressful. You are also bound by the meeting schedule. You will need to show up at a set time for the class, even if you're tired, hungry, or want to be somewhere else. Lastly, Shy students may have trouble approaching the instructor with questions. These disadvantages would affect students' scores or GPA because they could have opportunities to learn how to face problems.
These are the reasons why face-to-face classes are better than online classes. Many students in the United States are most likely to choose an in-person school. They won't feel lonely at home and involved with people if they decide face-to-face. Some students may hope there will be no online classes anymore. The better way is to fight against COVID.
