Rob Angus and Zav Austin provided the legal update and noted that Centerplate petition was due to be heard this week but is expected to be resolved soon with STFC sending our dispute on the debts claimed.
Why is Zav who is not a director of the club, giving legal updates?
Centerplate has taken over the Winding up petition, in respect of an old outstanding debt from outsourcing catering. The Club will continue to contest as it believes the amount due to Centerplate is much lower than claimed, next court hearing due later in November, if not settled beforehand.
Fan question: Were the debentures paid personally by Clem?
Club response: Yes
This is a lie as we know that Clem sold 22% shares in a holding company for around £1.4m to pay the debentures
Fan question: Is the club now in debt to Clem to the tune of £2.95m, and is this on top of the interest free £1.8m he recently referenced at the advisory board?
Club response: Yes
Fan question: If so, when will/does Clem expect to be repaid? And is this interest free? (like the £1.8m)
Club response: No repayment date or plans and yes, interest free
Fan question: Are we able to know who was in receipt of the debentures payment?
Club response: Kirk Rock Project Management (Kirk Rock Project Management was incorporated in Companies House on the 6th October 2022, this Kirk Rock company that the club are talking about was registered in Dubai by Andy Curran, but the record gives no incorporation date as far as I can see)
This will be incorrect, as we know that Rob Angus confirmed in July 2022 AB Meeting minutes that the debentures date back to 2012
