I have been following all of Clem's outside of football businesses for a long time. Please see below what is showing on Companies House regarding the filing of accounts and confirmation statements for each one.
Axis Sports Investments Ltd
Axis Sports Investments Ltd as we know was used to have a loan for the club to receive the money for the Scott Twine sell on clause from MK Dons, albeit minus a 10% loan fee. So the £980k became £882k. Other than this, the business has no connection to either Axis Football Investments Ltd (Swindon Town holding company), Swinton Reds 20 (another holding company of Swindon Town Football Club), Seebeck 87 (the 3rd holding company of Swindon Town Football Club) or Swindon Town Football Club.
The business is currently showing that it has not filed it's accounts to Companies House, which were due on the 25th April 2024. The business is also on a Propoal to strike off.
Axis Special Projects Limited
Axis Special Projects Limited which was incorporated in 2009 and has gone through a few name changes is showing that it has not filed accounts on Companies House that were due by 24th September 2021 and also no confirmation statement filed on Companies House which was due on 14th September 2022. The business has a Proposal to strike off also.
Axis Maintenance Services UK Limited
Axis Maintenance Services UK Limited was incorporated in 2009 and has had 1 name change since incorporation date. The business has failed to file accounts on Companies House which were due on the 24th September 2021 and failed to file a confirmation Statement since 2nd August 2022.The business also has a proposal to strike off.
All 3 UK businesses seem to follow the same pattern, failure to file accounts and/or confirmation statements. This is surely the most recognised way in business that you have no idea of how to run a business and is a way of checking if working relationship trusts can be built. Clem has shown through 3 of his other businesses that I have placed on information on this website, that he is no stranger to liquidate his personal (outside of football) businesses and with these 3, he is showing that following EFL governance also means very little. I am not going to give Clem any heads up on what could potentially happen if all 3 of these businesses were to be dissolved.
The standard process for filing accounts on Companies House links into your HMRC company record where you are then invoiced for Corporation Tax and VAT, this would suggest that none of the 3 businesses listed above have paid any monies to HMRC for some time. There is also a familiar pattern here. The club was fined and sanctioned under a transfer embargo for late payment to HMRC, of the 3 businesses that have been liquidated under the Axis umbrella, 2 had debts outstanding to guess who? Yep, HMRC.
Whilst Clem Morfoni is the majority shareholder of STFC, we as fans cannot walk on eggshells hoping that the inevitable doesn't happen. We have seen what he is willing to do to his businesses in his global empire, STFC is a small cog compared.
