"Only a fool plays the hand they’re dealt.”
Ardoise Vierge: blank slate in layman’s terms, a reference to the freedom and boundless possibilities its founders have been granted with after surviving against a champion of hell. Alternatively, based on the English acronym: bullshitting, for the flexibility that this so-called freedom has given them. Fake it till you make it, as they say.
Yet in spite of their namesake, Ardoise Vierge hopes to become something more than just mere potential. Power, stability, recognition, connections: this ring is built on a collective desire to make a name for itself, even though the personal motives grounding said intentions are wildly different. And while Paris can be a dangerous court of intrigue if one handles their cards incorrectly, while Ardoise Vierge’s founders are fully aware that their goals are not unique in itself–they are confident in their ability to quickly shift gears and play the game with the best.

Despite any positivity from finally being free from an impossible debt, three years of lingering resentment against the majority of his former Agency peers has made Elliot stubborn against the very prospect of banding together with other Symphonic individuals. Still, a series of events culminating in the fallout after Miyu Iino’s death has made it such that he’s willing to take another chance.
Here, in the city of lights, he hopes to take this second chance to fully come to his own, on his own, and prove to himself more than capable of meeting–if not surpassing–his father’s expectations.
Freshly defected, same flavor of gremlin. Now working at the Paris National Forensics Facility, a sister facility and Infrastructure to their former Madrid employment, they are no stranger in colluding with the agents of God Machine. But for them to stay in Paris long term, there no doubt exists a selfish ulterior motive, even if their mundane quality of life has drastically improved.
