Having been the heart of France since 987, Paris has stood as a great symbol for the French people and an ever-growing city of commerce, arts, fashion, and politics. Those outside of Paris know it to be an Integrator-leaning society, as those within the boundaries of Paris tend to want to serve the God Machine and stay out of its way. A quiet city for unchained who know how to keep their heads down and hide in plain sight, reckless Symphony activity is often nonexistent or snuffed out before it can start. Paris is a dangerous landscape for Saboteurs who are often quickly turned in before they can even start their dismantling. Home of the Muses and other powerful Angels, Paris is one of the worst European cities for Saboteurs, often quick to purge outsiders and those who make one too many steps out of line.
The “ruling” Agency of Paris, Carte d’Ivoire often finds itself of great importance for keeping the balance of the Paris Symphony. Intermixed with the mundane political structures throughout the ages, Carte d’Ivoire stands as a European testament to those who know how to play the game. Those who know Carte d’Ivoire know that this Parisian Agency values its social contacts and allies, and values those with similar views. Well integrated with the smaller rings that run abound, Carte d’Ivoire serves as a hub of information coming in and going out, all with a singular goal in mind: All for Paris, All for France. This makes Carte d’Ivoire strictly anti-saboteur, and thus - the rest of the rings who feed off the vestiges of their influence follow suit.
The sheer volume of symphonic groups is ubiquitous no matter the city of origin, and Ardoise Vierge just so happens to be one of the newest rings in the Parisian collection.
Founded by two former insurgent Agency expatriates, Ardoise Vierge presents itself as yet another run-of-the-mill inquisitor ring, though its founders have greater, loftier ambitions regarding their place in the French Symphony than one might think.
A small group of unscored and unchained who like to think themselves guardians, the Pillars of Atlas are known for being a go-to public resource in the Eastern Arrondissements. Taking up home base in the 11th Arrondissement, The Pillars of Atlas make it their goal to aid, protect, and guide all those new to the Symphony. Well known throughout the city by word of mouth, many can find a place of refuge with the Pillars, and a neutral ground at the Orphanage in which they call home.
