Wanda has enjoyed art from her earliest days, beginning with the family art her parents and her aunts and uncles displayed in their homes. Creating in her own mediums, Wanda has found in art a way to express herself. Wanda says that no matter whether the medium is wood and the end result is a house as has been the case with her husband Roy and her son Nick or the mediums used in many of the diverse forms of expression employed by her children and grandchildren, artful creativeness has been everywhere in their lives.
Son Ron is a potter and paints in acrylic and oils. Daughter Pamela does corn husk art, is a pianist and quilter. Daughter Paulette makes all kinds of baskets from natural materials, weaves, has done some glass blowing and quilts.
Some of her grandchildren have also taken up the arts. Natosha is a glass artist. Jasmine does commercial art for a magazine. Jamara is a photographer.
