Ansel McGrew was born April 15, 2005. He lives in Livermore, California. From spring 2018 to the present (2019) he has attended workshops at Kids 'N Clay Studio in Berkeley, California with Matt Brandon Duke, the studio director. He has developed his skills in modeling clay figures, some of which tell their own stories: "The eyes have it..."
Among Ansel's other interests is guitar playing. He is working on retrofitting some vintage guitars, including one owned by his father, Andy McGrew.
