Officers employed by the SASP are required to maintain a comprehensive loadout while on duty, in accordance with the following standards:
Standard Loadout:
Combat Pistol (police issued)
1x Taser
1x Nightstick
Sufficient pistol ammunition to fully load all magazines
2x Handcuffs
1x Flashlight
1000x Empty Evidence Bags
1x Radio
5x Heavy Armor (with one already worn)
10x Taser Carts
15x Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs)
1x Handcuff key
1x Nikoff G900 camera
1x Police Tablet
1x Department-issued badge
In addition to the mandatory items, the following are recommended for optimal preparedness:

2x Repair Kits
1x Megaphone
1x Mikrosil
1x Fingerprint Tape
1x DNA Swab

All officers are required to adhere to this Equipment and Loadout Policy without exception. Deviations from this policy are only permitted with explicit authorization from departmental superiors.
To ensure compliance with this policy, officers are required to register their equipment with the guidance provided in the Equipment Registration Protocol.
