Coyote and Sandhill Crane

Sandhill Cranes and Coyotes

This occurred at a lake. Coyote was walking along the beach when he noticed a bird. He had no idea what this strange long-legged bird was. He initially mistook it for a tree and went to sit in the shade it cast. The bird made no movement with his legs. He only moved his head slightly.

The coyote fixed his gaze on the bird's foot. "How does this tree stand up?" he asked. The root is directly on top of the ground. And it appears to have claws. "

Another crane could be seen a short distance away, but this one was sitting. Coyote approached the crane and inquired as to why he was sitting in that position. The crane was standing with his feet up and his claws out.

"Oh, I sit like this to rest," said the crane.

"You sit in an unusual position."

"That is how my people sit."

Coyote attempted to sit in the same position. He sat with his feet up against himself, facing the crane. Coyote disliked sitting in that position. So he changed and sat in his usual position.

"You must teach me to sit like you," Coyote said.

"How am I going to teach you this?" "You are no longer the same person."

"Oh, different people teach me different things. I'm capable of doing anything. This should be simple. "

"I don't believe I can teach you."

Crane tried because Coyote said he could learn. "Come closer to me with your feet." This was done by Coyote. With his claws, the bird began to work on Coyote's legs. He tapped him on the hip.

"Why are you tickling me?" Coyote asked. "You're making me laugh instead of teaching me anything."

After a while, the bird captured a coyote member. Coyote began to laugh. Crane tightened his claws, and Coyote's expression changed. His eyes were soon filled with tears.

"What's the problem?" I assumed you were laughing. What exactly are you crying about now? "Are you crying because you find it difficult to learn my ways?"

Coyote was sobbing because he was in so much pain. "I don't want you to teach me any more," Coyote said, "I'm tired of it." "I should sit my own way."

As a result, Crane let go of Coyote's member. The Coyote bolted quickly. He was terrified of sitting so close to that bird.

The members of Coyote were swollen. He had to walk with his legs spread wide. He didn't want his wife to see him, so he avoided his house until late at night.

He acted strangely when he returned home.

"What's the matter with you?" his wife asked. "Go to bed."

He eventually laid down, but he wouldn't let his wife get too close.

"Let's have intercourse," his wife suggested.

"No," Coyote replied. "I'm exhausted." My legs are too tense. I've been on the road all day. "

His wife attempted to tease and excite him.

"Don't bother me," he said. "I'm tense all over."

"There's one place that isn't too stiff," she said, tickling him.

"Don’t! I'm too exhausted. "

As a result, his wife left him alone. She felt him all over when he fell asleep. He awoke as soon as she touched that spot. But she was already aware of what was wrong.

She immediately confronted him about it. "You've dated other women!" That's what you do whenever you leave!"

"I stepped on a thorn," he explained.

"No, you landed on a woman!"

"I was sitting under a tree when a large bird came and tried to steal it."

She was skeptical of what he said. "Stay away from me," she said. I don't want to sleep with you. I don't want you to get sick. "

As a result, Coyote had to sleep by himself.

He decided to go see that bird again the next day.
