What am I being graded on?
In order to keep this class fun and simple but also get you to learn something useful, you will be responsible for 1 project and 2 entries on a sketchbook per week:

Week 6 : Journal Feature

B. Sketchbook
You will make one sketchbook entry twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday. You will submit your entry on Google classroom every day before 3:15pm. You scan or take a picture with your phone or webcam. Most entries will be open to any topic and medium so long as you fill an entire page. On Wednesdays you will have a specific prompt or response to a reading or video.
C. Weekly Trailivision Segment
Every Thursday you will record a short 30 second segment for Trailivision which will be edited into a weekly broadcast.
Learning Goals
Every project will come with clear and specific objectives. These are the essential skills or concepts that you will learn. In order to create awesome projects you must first understand what your end goal is.
Success Criteria
The success criteria is how you know you reached your learning goals and learned what you were supposed to learn. This will typically be presented as a rubric of the requirements for each of your projects.
Required Materials
Internet device with a webcam, access to google classroom and access to google tools as well as access to internet
Pen: can be ballpoint, gel, or ink
Pencil of any kind
Straight edge or ruler. Whatever allows you to make straight lines
Notebook that will serve as your Sketchbook. It can be an actual art sketchbook, composition notebook, or even just blank pages stapled together. Minimum size is 5.5 by 8.5 inches
OPTIONAL: Paint, glue, watercolors, crayons, color pencils and other art supplies for your sketchbook. This is NOT required and will not affect your grade but will make your sketchbook more colorful
Grading Policy
Projects will be turned in every Friday via google classroom
Sketchbook entries must be submitted via google classroom on the day they are due.
A project will lose 1/5 of its value ever week that it is late.
Projects
This class is a Project-Based Course, which means you will have to complete all projects to pass the class with a good grade. Most of the projects have multiple components and each part must be completed in order to receive a grade.
