FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Digital Media Arts pathway is a series of 3 classes that include DMA 1, DMA 2 and Journalism Broadcasting. You can start the pathway during your Sophomore year in High School and take a class each year thereafter. 

If you take all 3 classes in the pathwya, you get a certificate of completion, the opportunity to obtain college credit and a deep set of skills that you can immediately use to become a multimedia creator. 

There is no application, but you do have to fill out an interest form during your Freshman year at MT. Keep in mind that this class has limited capacity, so the earlier you fill out the form the more likely you will be able to secure a spot to start the pathway on your Sophomore year. 

Unfortunately, no. You can not join the pathway during your Freshman year. You can sign up duirng your Freshman year so you start as a Sophomore. However, if you are interested in taking a class with Mr. Sarabia, you can consider taking Graphic Design Production, which is a Visual and Performing Arts Elective.
