Our team at Ohio Virtual Academy hosts a series of class connect sessions to help our 8th grade students (and their families) successfully transition to high school to our high school program here at OHVA. Please find more information below!

Course Selection Sessions 

Course selection meetings will be help on Monday, March 16th at 3:15. During this session the school counselor will go over the courses available to you at OHVA during your 9th grade year and how to select the courses. Session links will appear on the students class connect schedule. Make sure you have your school counselor course selected to see the invite. The course selection form will be share during the session and is due by Friday, April 3rd.

For students who are participating in high school classes or College Credit Plus program during your 8th-grade year will be invited to a separate session on Thursday, March 12th at 3:15. You will need to make sure the 8th Grade Large Group course is selected on your calendar to see the invite. 

These sessions are required for all students enrolling at OHVA for their freshman year. If you are undecided about attending OHVA next year, we recommend you attend and submit a course selection survey to have the courses you want scheduled as one of your plans.
