Ohio Virtual Academy Middle School Counseling

As the Middle School Counselors at OHVA, we work collaboratively to provide support and help eliminate barriers to our 6th-8th grade middle school students’ academic success, personal/social well-being and college/career readiness. In addition to individual student counseling, we provide group counseling and classroom lessons through MS Counselor Corner sessions. The topics of these monthly sessions are student needs identified by students, parents, and teachers/admin in annual need assessments. We also provide support for MS students involved in: early high school credit, College Credit Plus (CCP), and other academic, personal/social and college/career student opportunities and involvement. We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with the students, teachers, staff, administration, and stakeholders at OHVA to ensure the continuing success of our MS students!
