The first few weeks of this term will be short and focus on establishing rules and routines with the students. It will also be about introducing the students to a number of games that focus on them being aware of themselves and how to cooperate with others and be a team player.
As the term progresses we will focus on locomotor skills, particularly running, skipping, galloping, hopping, jumping, sliding, walking backwards and leaping.
We have been learning a range of locomotor skills during term 1, these are the foundation skills we need to master to be able to participate in all different types of sports.
