Objective: Students will use framing techniques to enclose their subject, adding focus and depth to their images.
Instructions:
Find objects like windows, doors, branches, or other natural frames to surround your subject.
Take at least 10 photos using different framing techniques (full enclosures, partial framing, blurred foreground elements).
Experiment with distance—move closer or farther to adjust how the frame interacts with the subject.
Keep the focus on your subject while ensuring the frame enhances the composition.
Create a contact sheet of your top 10, do minor edits to your best shot and export both as jpg files. Turn in.
