Principles of design

Instructions:
Create a series of 6 original photographs, each demonstrating one of the principles of design listed below:

1. Rhythm / Movement – A photo that shows a sense of motion or visual flow.
   
   

2. Repetition / Pattern – A photo highlighting repeated elements or patterns.
   
   

3. Unity – A photo that feels visually cohesive and harmonious.
   
   

4. Contrast – A photo emphasizing strong differences (light/dark, color, texture, etc.).
   
   

5. Balance – A photo demonstrating either symmetrical or asymmetrical balance.
   
   

6. Emphasis – A photo where one area or subject clearly stands out.
   
   

Editing:
Make minimal edits in Lightroom or Photoshop.-(Cropping, black and white, exposure...)

Submission:
Create a new folder in your Google Drive Photography folder and title it "Principles of design" and share that folder in Google Classroom. 

Critique:
Create a new page on your website add each photo and include a brief description explaining which principle each photograph represents and how it demonstrates that principle.
