(1) What type of promotions can I run?
The following features are available on the promotion screen in CWF Seller Portal:
1. Simple Promotion
a. Percentage-off
b. Dollar-off
2. Complex Promotion
a. Mix and Match
(2) How do I offer discount promotions?
Promotions can be created on your own in the Marketplace Dashboard. You can refer to the user guide for the promotion portal for more information and detailed usage steps.
Important Notes:
Promotion will appear as dollar off on the website
Choose the correct promo type (dollar off or percentage off):
If different SKUs have different dollar or percentages off, they need to be submitted in separate forms
The earliest date that the promo can start on is:
- D+2 for promos created before 5pm (i.e. created on 1 Jan, earliest live date 3 Jan)
- D+3 for promos created after 5pm (i.e. created on 1 Jan, earliest live date is 4 Jan)
(3) What is the exact time the promotion goes live OR gets cancelled?
The exact time is 4am.
Examples:
If a promo duration is from 1st Jan - 20th Jan, the promo will be live on the website on 1st Jan, 4am and will end on 21st Jan, 4am.
Promotions will be cancelled at 4am on the effective date chosen.
(4) I forgot my promotion form number?
Check the promotion form number using the "Promotion Report" feature in CWF seller portal.
(5) Can I just overwrite an existing promotion?
No, sellers will have to cancel the existing promotions first, then create the new promotion.
This means that a minimum number of 4 days (2 days to cancel & 2 days to create the new promotion) will be needed to change the promotion of a SKU.
Thus, it is important for sellers to be very careful when creating promotions.
(6) My promotions are not reflecting correctly OR not showing up at all on the website. What can I do?
Please contact helpdesk, or if it is an urgent matter (such as promo prices not reflecting correctly, do reach out to your account manager).
