Creating Promotions on FairPrice Online

Learn how to create Simple Promotions for your products with the following steps:

Step 1: Login to CWF seller portal

Access the CWF seller portal > Click on the "Marketplace dashboard"

Step 2: Select simple promotion

• Click on "Add Promotions".

• Select the "Simple Promotions" tab.

Step 3: Input the list of promotional products in an excel sheet

• Prepare an excel sheet with the header title labeled as “SKU”.

• Fill up your promotional items SKUs from cell A2 onwards.

Step 4: Upload your excel sheet onto CWF seller portal

• Click on "Browse" > "Upload"

Step 5: Fill up the necessary information and click “Submit”

1. Select the start and end date of the promotion

• The earliest date that the promotion can start on is:

  • D+2 for promotions created before 5pm (i.e. created on 1 Jan, earliest live date 3 Jan)

  • D+3 for promotions created after 5pm (i.e. created on 1 Jan, earliest live date is 4 Jan)

NOTE:

• Submit promotions 2 days in advance before 5pm

  • Please avoid last minute submission as there might be technical difficulties or human errors during point of submission.

  • Example: For a promotion to take effect on 25 Jun 0000 HRS, create the promotion well before 23 Jun 1700 HRS.

2. Type of discount (Dollar-off or Percentage-off)

NOTE:

• In this current application version, all promotions will appear as dollar-off promotions regardless of dollar-off or percentage-off setting.

  • E.g. The promotion will appear as dollar-off amount even if it is a 50% off (percentage-off) promotion submitted.

• The following are the examples of products with percentage-off and dollar-off promotions on the website.

Step 6: A confirmation email will be sent for every successful submission

• If your submission is successful, an email confirmation will be sent and you should be expecting your promotion to go live on the date that you select.

• It is useful to take note of this form number in the event of any promotion cancellations necessary.

• Should there be any technical issues in the creation of the promotion, do also quote this form number.
