I Designed This T-Shirt To Really Emphasize The Word Recycle. I Feel It’s Very Important For Everyone Everywhere To Recycle As Much As They Can To Reduce Non Decomposable Waste. I Implemented A Style In My Design That I See To Be Unique And A Cool Sort Of Street Wear, Using Japanese Lettering (Translating To "Recycle"), Quilting And A Fancy Font, Then Lastly A Personal Touch Of Roses, Keeping The Design Clean And Composed.

I chose to do this design on this shirt/sweatshirt because I was inspired by a song with the words that I put on the shirt. I think that the design I put on it is very important to remember to smile and be happy. The colors I chose for this were inspired from valentines day with the red, pink, and white look.

My sweatshirt design for this project was inspired by my hometown in Los Angeles, California. On the right side, I put the motto “City of Angels” which Los Angeles goes by In addition to a LA patch on the bottom. The year 1781 on the right indicates the year Los Angeles was founded. I wanted to create a varsity like design so I added line stitching at the top and bottom along with the last 2 digits the year most 10th graders were born in (2007). The LB logo to the left is a patch that represents Long Beach County. At the bottom is the LA Kings hockey team logo, and aside from that is the LAX airport sign you see when you land there. At last, the wording Dreamville in the Mid-Center is a Collab look with the Dodgers baseball team. I think the word Dreamville represents Los Angeles being a dream come true.

This week we learned about different designs that are on shirts like wavy words.
This is my shirt/sweatshirt design. Its a mix of wavy words and a picture. Polaroid Love is a song from a Kpop group I really like, Enhypen. I decided that it was too plain to just have a wavy word in the middle so I drew a little bear with an umbrella with hearts and sparkles and colored them in different shades of red and pink since this week is Valentines. I also added a different song lyrics on the sleeves, the song is Give Me Your Forever by Zack Tabudlo. He is a Filipino artist.
