Foundations of Education is a great class to take if you are interested in majoring in education.
It gives you the opportunity to get out into classrooms and see if teaching is the right career choice for you.
You get experience in a classroom setting (FOR FREE) while getting 4 college credits.

This is a college course that you don’t have to pay for, so you are saving money!
While this class is a college course, it’s super fun and you don’t feel stress like other classes.
You get to leave school to hangout with kids twice a week!
While other classes are mandatory and not what you’re interested in, this class is something that actually pertains to what you want to do in the future.
-Lexi
Foundations of Education was a super fun class for me. I really liked being able to go to Pinewood for observations. Being able to work with the kids was my favorite part of this class. It was so interesting to see how her class works and what fun projects they did. My teacher, Mrs. Urick, was great to work with and was very flexible and creative.
This class gave me a lot of experience and was an aide in the process of deciding what I want to do in the future.
I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who likes kids or has thought about being a teacher someday.
-Brianna
There was never a day that I didn't have fun hanging out with the little kids!
My Favorite Memories:
Making gingerbread houses
Making homecoming headbands
Getting drawings to hang in my locker
Know matter what teacher you are observing I can promise that you will have fun!
-Emmaleigh
