Parkview Elementary School parents gathered materials and created a nature play area for students to use during recess in 2010. The surrounding community also uses the area as an alternative to the adjacent traditional playground.

Cost: $50 for signs
Design: Parents consulted with teachers and the school principal on design and maintenance needs.
