Ann Campbell was faced with a dilemma after winning Miss Oklahoma. She was named Miss OU and earned the chance to compete for the national title of Miss Football the same weekend as Miss America. After being named 4th Runner-Up to Miss America, she hopped a plane to Berkley, CA and won the "Miss Football" crown the next day.
Ann married OU football star, Tommy MacDonald.

Corrie Unthank almost didn't get to compete, as the Tulsa Jaycees just chose her as their representative instead of holding a contest. Ms. Unthank was a professional TV singer that used the name "Corrie Meadows."
