Winner: Louise O'Brien, 4th Runner-Up to Miss America

Strangely, Louise O'Brien was unopposed and uncontested in the 1950 Miss Oklahoma Contest. Louise won the title of Miss Tulsa against 29 competitors, after being a runner up the two previous years.


Louise went on to become the 4th runner up at Miss America. She was a television performer, and practiced her singing for the inmates at the state penitentiary where her father was the warden!!
