This technique is a super easy way to control your breathing and shift your focus back to the present moment AND the only thing you need is... your hand!
Open your hand and place your opposite index finger below your thumb.
Trace up your thumb as you take a slow, deep breath in
Trace down your thumb as you take a slow, deep breath out
Repeat for all your fingers and until you feel calm and back in the present moment.
Pro Tip:
If you get bored of using your hand, you can focus on the in and out of your breath while tracing whatever object you want.
